Events Terms & Conditions
All event bookings are subject to the following Events Terms & Conditions. Please read these carefully before placing your order.
Who can make a booking?
Bookings for our young members (under 18s) should always be made by their parent/carer.
Confirmation of booking & receipt for payment
Bookings are taken via our online booking page where the details we require for the event are requested and any payment is taken. Please ensure you complete all the details requested at this time. For some of our events, if there are more complex details required, the event team may require you to complete additional paperwork. This will be communicated with you in good time ahead of the event.
An email confirming your purchase will be sent automatically by the system. The system allows us to specify the maximum number of tickets available so this confirmation email will act as your confirmation that you have a space at the event.
This confirmation email also acts as your receipt of payment.
Final information for your event
Whether this is required, what this will consist of and when this will arrive will depend on the event. For example, our Archery Club does not send any final details as it is all on our website, but a camp or holiday will have further details in the run up to the event. Please contact the event coordinator, whose email is on the event booking page, if you have any questions about the event.
Cancellations and non-attendance
All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you/your young member fails to attend an event, no refund will be given.
Information about the Covid risk and whether refunds are available or not, depends on the event and more details can be found in the event information.
Please respect our volunteers
Please remember our events are all run by Girlguiding volunteers. If you are unable to make an event for whatever reason, please email us to let us know so that our volunteers are not waiting for you to get started.
Our right to cancel and applicable refund
We may have to cancel a booking before the event due to circumstances outside of our control, for example if one of our volunteers is sick and a replacement can't be sourced or for technical issues.
