2025 Fundraising reaches over £4,000 – THANK YOU

Our fundraising from 2025 has reached over £4,000 bringing our all-time total up to almost £43,500 since 2009.
This year our focus has continued with fundraising for our Disneyland Paris trip taking place in May 2026. We have 34 children and 13 adult volunteers signed up to take part and we’re getting super excited now!

Many of the girls and leaders coming have completed lots of fundraising and been allocated match funding from our existing funds. We have allocated £5,281.26 towards their trip to match these fundraising efforts.

2025 has been a strange year as I have had personal things going on that have meant I have not been able to focus on the site as much as usual. I have a huge stash of donations still waiting to be uploaded to the website in 2026. But, you have continued to support us, buying the badges already up for sale, and we’re really grateful for that.

As always, the district would like to say a huge THANK YOU to you all for your continued support, whether you are an avid badge collector wanting something different for your collection or a leader looking for a resource for your unit. Or perhaps you donated badges to us during the year. Each and every one of you has made a difference to Girlguiding Dursley district.
